After summer we’re going to start a Book Club for people who love reading and discussing literature and all related topics with a nice bunch of people. During the lessons we’ll work with questions, statement , perspective etc. We’ll also discuss the story line, the characters, the style and all other themes that might pop up. For example paralels to daily life, politics, world history and other literature. We’ve chosen a book that was turned into a film, which we’ll watch and disuss during the last lesson with some drinks and bites.
This course is suitable for everyone who’s got B2+ level and who wants to do something they enjoy in Dutch. In this course you’ll work on your speaking skills and of your course your reading skills and vocabulary in a fun a relaxed way.
The course consists of 8 lessons of 1,5 hrs, 7 online and 1 in person. There are 2 weeks between all lessons to make sure you have enough time to read and prepare for the next lesson. Marjon Reinders, who’s a big reader and experienced book club lead, is the course leader.
