Dutch Book Club Online
8 Sessions of 1 hour 30 minutes
The Dutch Book Club is a great place for everyone who loves reading and discussing literature and all related topics with a nice bunch of people. During the sessions we’ll work with questions, statements etc to get the discussion going. We’ll discuss the story line, the characters, the style and all other themes that might pop up. For example parallels to daily life, politics, world history and other literature.
This course is suitable for everyone who’s got B2+ level and who wants to do something they enjoy doing in Dutch. In this course you’ll work on your speaking skills, and of course, your reading skills and vocabulary in a fun a relaxed way.
The course consists of 8 get-togethers of 1,5 hrs. There are 2 weeks between all gatherings to make sure you have enough time to read and prepare. Marjon, who’s a keen reader and experienced book club lead, is the course leader.
